What is a Circle?
- A Circle can be a study group, project, event, activity, exploration, adventure, or any other good reason to get together.
- A Circle Leader is the organizer or coordinator of the Circle.
- A Circle Leader can be anyone who has an interest in a subject or activity and a desire to get together and enjoy it with others.
- Circles tend to be non-hierarchical with the Circle Leader and Circle Members being on a relatively equal level.
- Set length: Those that are of a “set length,” e.g., four Wednesday evenings or one Saturday
- Ongoing: Those that are “ongoing” month after month. If the Class or Circle is ongoing, Students and Circle Members pay and get new Ticket Numbers for each month.
-
Classes and Circles Numbers begin with one letter (if a Class) or two letters (if a Circle). The letters represent the month of the starting date for the Class or Circle, A for January, B for February, etc., skipping the letter I. Classes and Circles that are To Be Arranged have no starting date and begin with the letter T.
- After your Class or Circle, we encourage you to rate and review your Teacher (and Class) or Circle Leader (and Circle).
- These ratings and reviews will help other Students and Circle Members decide which Classes to take and Circles to join in the future.
